If you don't have $ for a shower ask a driver. We normally have 4-6 shower credits since we fuel 4-5 times a week.
Don't feel ashamed - just don't do it like the homeless guys do, in a creepy manner that is. We appreciate honesty.
I drive Otr to pay my bills off - fast- trucking gives me probably the best method to save money fast. No house no wife no kids no bills. Save save save.NavigatorWife and 48Packard Thank this. -
There's a good thread on here about CRST. The guy likes it there and making good money. I'll look for the thread. Meantime, while you're sitting there, submit several applications and take the best offer.Giuseppe Ventolucci Thanks this.

There are plenty of truck companies who will bus you into their terminal for free, put you up in a hotel maybe with another guy and feed you twice a day while you train to get your million dollar CDL.

Hey to the op where are you located ? I'm sure there are some on here that could help my self included .
1278PA and CruisingAlong Thank this. -
Again thanks for all the help i just got back on im at the mcds on the wifi. Went to walmart bought a cheap styrofoam cooler cups and ice. Now im plotting where to " boondock" i think its called. I know of a large apartment complex i might park at. I think i wont be suspicious at all with that place its huge and no security or cameras its in my area.
On a more depressing note i saw a real homeless guy on yhe bench at walmart. Dirty long beard and one of those wheeled laundy carts. There is always someone worse off out there.Lepton1, heckclan, NavigatorWife and 1 other person Thank this. -
Yes, there's always someone worse off. And when they get to the point of living on a bench, with no address, no phone etc. it's a very hard place to get out of. Find a company that will bus you to training if need be and don't look back.heckclan and NavigatorWife Thank this.

Ill try to reply to everyone but its tough there are a lot of replies i didnt expect. Again its greatly appreciated just the talk even if nobody can directly help me. I dont have anyone in my life thats why i turn to the internet at times.
NavigatorWife Thanks this. -
Im thinking maybe i should sell my truck and put my tools in storage? Truck is a 1997 chevy tahoe with 200k miles but i just got it inspected. I should be able to get at very least 800 bucks. Plenty to have for when i go to orientation. I was gonna sell it anyway once i got locked in with a company. No sense paying insurance for something every month i never use and letting it sit in a lot somewhere.
But the catch is that its my home right now...
So much to worry and think about in short time. -
I think you should take the first offer that comes your way where they will bus you there feed you train you then pay you to drive. As in, first order of business Monday at 9 am.
