well it's been 2 months since I got my CDL, I hired on with mayflower transit...they really didn't care about my driving experience and didn't care that I didn't go to truck driving school..they already knew I trained with my uncle because he parks his truck and trailer in the same lot as their office so that helped me out... I've been doing local jobs, no more than 200 mile radius...getting paid .28 cpm plus 19$ an hr for the labor....6 days a week ...so I get some solid checks ...I had to take some online classes so that I could go OTR with United van lines, I did the Online classes and got qualified, did the drug screen and background check, MVR...so I should be out on the road by the end of this week...I think I made a good decision....ill keep u guys updated once I get out on the road
2 month update
