Horsehockey... Notice isn't necessary, especially to a company that pays starvation wages.

Also, this driver would be moving up to around $12-1300 a week, which is probably about the industry average, nation-wide. $1200/wk is only about $900 after taxes. He's not exactly moving into the Money Tree Forest here.

you txt back that you have some real important stuff to take care of, that you already dropped the tractor off at the yard and will try to come back this week.

Key word is 'try' lol, you're really trying about negative 75% to come back but they don't need to know the whole truth nothing but the truth. You tell em just enough so they don't keep your last paycheck see. Once you get paid, you don't contact them, if they contact you, just say you're not ready to come back yet which is not lying.

^^ This is exactly what he should do. scottie is correct , Tell them family issues or whatever and leave the door open for a little while. They are paying driver wages we made 25 to 30 years ago.

OK buddy you ask for the advice I'm just telling you because I have quit and got my last check. It's kinda bs to quit without notice but in my book it really dont matter as long as u dont quit where they can put any thing negative on your background and you dont plan on going back. And its alot more bs to work for pennies.

    Ky Trucker25 Thanks this.
