Running with JCT, Part Deux

Sometimes on an uneven surface your trailer and tractor can tilt in opposite directions causing the drive tires to rub the underside of the trailer .

 

Only the inner shoulder? No other marks on the tire.

 

The Yokohama super single are a decent tire and wear just as good as the Michelin tire and they are cheaper and have the same and some times lower rolling resistance. Just depends on the series.

 

My pre plan picks up tomorrow, will the miles count for this quarter or next quarter? I'd rather have them go towards next quarter as I have about 32k on this quarter already.

 

Tomorrow the 30th? Yes it will count this quarter. Counts when dispatched not completed.

 

I once had a strip of rubber taken out of the center of the tread.
I say it was a trailer.
Be careful on uneven lots,etc.
It happened to me. I was careful ever since. Didn't happen again.
I was mystified at first too. What happened to my tire?

 

Kinda figured as much. Just needed to refresh my memory on this.

 

Anything that comes across during a before the end of the quarter hours on current quarter regardless of when it delivers. Pre plans don't count, must have the load assignment.

 

I will be getting the load assigned on the 30th. Picks up at the same place I deliver to on the 30th
