I used to rely on the burn of the blood in battle to draw and fortify the rage to focus the power I need that hurt so to speak. With that said, age is a killer I hate what it has done over the years. I trained with some really big boys once or twice in Krav and they don;t need to last an hour just wallop you once.

I fought bullies in school. Today's kids are messed up and being damaged on purpose being told to talk out feelings rather than allowing natural can of whoop ###. It conflicts them and does them damage inside the mind and nerves.

I wonder how the Marine Corps have to take such material and break em down and build em up again. I know they are thrown together in a pugil contest and many do not demonstrate aggression required of them until they get hit a couple of times. They learn fast.

But I blame the constant brain wash of schools. They hurt the kids in more ways than one.

Big or small is one thing, but the most dangerous is the use of ruse or guile. Mister can help me around the corner with my tire please? Ya right...

Interesting post! I've heard of the trucker that "hit it big",now he's handing out money to all his "buddies"(who are in on the scam).Want to make sure you're not a bum"let's see yourcdl license &money to verify.,then grab your wallet and run like a deer with it.Experienced the note on the restroom door. Two 50 year old couple, claiming trying to get to Pendleton Oregon. Was about 50 miles shy.Seen em collect what appeared to be $40 in 20 minutes. One ole boy gave them a 2.5 gallon jug of gas and left.Guess what (they didn't put it in their vehicle) Saw them the next day at I84 easrbound (wrong direction).Must have made it to Pendleton and trying to go back the other direction! I've been hit up for cash.I quit rolling the window down anymore.I'll just stare at them like a psycho thru the window. This works well. After 30 seconds or so they walk away.

I remember a small collection of parasites on my fuel tank in particular areas of the USA. They are either truly busted rock bottom, or they will get into the merchedes and drive home later that day.

Because of that my heart is hardened now. However... Ive been known to dig out a 10 note to help a driver now... and then... And no one saw a #### thing.

I used to have a problem with that when I was a baby faced teenager, but thank god I got to 6'5 and am able to grow facial hair.

Im the runt in my family. Obesity killed a cousin by 40, good riddiance to him. He was born cranky and the heavier he got the girls went away and he got really bad. Now that Im where I need to be in height and weight Im feeling pretty well. My earily years was pretty poor because I was truly a runt like something 135 soaking wet throwing chains weighing as much as I do all day. I despised those years.

Anyone who has been out here any length of time has faced these scammers or have been within an inch of being robbed, sometimes without even knowing it. Being a country boy myself and my first experience with truck driving being into and out of the Bronx, Brooklyn, and Queens NYC I had a crash course in scams shoved down my throat. I was a very trusting soul, eager to help. Fortunately for me it didn't cost me a lot of money to learn, there was this panhandler who worked the corkscrew ramp from the Cross Bronx Expressway to the Major Degan (I-87&I-95), I was stuck in traffic and the guy was complaining he was hungry and thirsty, looked the part, so I gave him a fresh, ice cold bottle of water, some fruit, and my sandwich from my lunch pail. Well, y'all can guess what happened next, in my rearview mirror I see him throwing it all over the rail of the ramp, just discarded it because what he really wanted was my cash.

When my brother an I were running team for the winter of 2004, he fell prey to the pretty girl who was out of gas scam, I was sleeping in the bunk when she knocked on the door at a J somewhere in IL, before I could warn him he was out of the truck offering to buy her gas, she got $40 off him and peeled out of the lot without stopping at the gas pump. Saw the same girl the next week, he confronted her about it and she gave him a sob story of how her boyfriend was making her do this for money and if she didn't come back with enough he would make her do other things to get the cash, could've been true but most likely just another lie, sad part was he was such a bleeding heart he gave her another $40!

When I was a tow truck driver I have had fake calls for service and have had the "customer" try to rob me twice, you learn real quick to have situational awareness and to always look for the bad in everyone. I have probably missed helping some people that were really in need, but that is just the world we live in today.

Ive run into some hard ######## in my time out there. Dangerous ones too. The only reason Im still alive today is because I either hired them to lump or they protected me from the really bad threats on skid row or in the combat zone because Im a trucker and I help keep this nation going.

Believe you me when I tell you with emphasis that there is no love lost. They would just as soon kill you as casually drink the coffee on your computer desk. Im glad I did not get bad with the rest of them out of necessity. But my family could never understand. I needed two days in the dark corner of the basement to remember that I was human again.

Some of these people did a #### good work on so little. I wondered in the world sometimes how they live on a 20 dollar bill when it costs that much get a bag of chips and dip.

Deep down in Florida on a hot muggy night, this tatted up pitbull of a man walks up to me and simply say "I just got out of prison, I need money". Translation: Give me your money, I have nothing to lose.

I looked him up and down, he did the same and decided to leave me alone.
