This morning i was going to naples fl from miami fl. I was on a route around everglades area, saw something on the road but didnt think i was an animal. Man i got closer and it was a ####ing 4ft crocodile in the middle of the road. I couldnt stop so i flattened him out but wtf! A crocodile in the middle of the road? Jesus! Then i arrived to naples, saw these "caution panther" cat signs... wth! ?

How many of u guys seen these kinds of weird signs or animals? Actually let me put it this way, whats the weirdest animals u have seen so far on road either trucking or not?

One night I parked on a ramp on Jellico Mtn in TN (I-75 near KY line). I woke up in the morning and opened the curtain and there was a giant female elk looking in my passenger side window. It saw me, stuck its loong tongue out, then ran off into the woods. Weird experience.

I seen a cougar once. I'm talking about the 4 legged furry kind, not the ones with money.

Probably an alligator, croc's are saltwater, that road across south FL is called alligator alley for a reason. And a 4' alligator, that was a baby. The area in north FL where I use to live, there was a gator sunning itself on the road, it was from the center line all the way across the fog line.

And this was filmed near the town where I live (High Springs FL)

Sounds like a truck driver story, there are no crocks in the USA.

But there are alligators in Florida,

I've seen black bears twice (not the darker persuasion in cop cars), a momma and her 3 cubs on I 79 north past Meadville, PA. Also saw the aftermath of a pickup truck/bear collision on 119 about 40 minutes south of Charleston, WV. Both pickup and bear were DOA, thankfully the driver of the truck was okay. Shaken up, but okay.

Actually, there are crocodiles in Florida as well. Not many, and a narrow range around the southern coast in salt and brackish water. But yea, along Alligator Alley, it was probably an alligator.
