WASHINGTON – Today, U.S. Secretary of Transportation Anthony Foxx announced the appointment of three new Federal representatives, each with considerable expertise in safety, to the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) board of directors.

    Ummmmmm - I'm out.

It seems that comprehension is lacking.

Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA)
The Metro Board of Directors determines agency policy and provides oversight for the funding, operation, and expansion of transit facilities within the Transit Zone.

If you know the slightest thing about this country, Washington DC is not part of any state. They are governed and regulated by the federal government. Hence the DOT oversight in this area. This has absolutely nothing to do with interstate travel. It has to do with mass transportation such as city buses and commuter trains.

And not one of those 3 are or have been the CEO of a major trucking company according to the announcement.

I am out of here too. Sorry to confuse you with the facts.

I'm not sure what you are saying? Are you saying that those loads don't exist? I'm not showing rate cons, but you can easily see with a check of the loadboard sorted by rpm that those loads do exist.

. I just did a loadboard check and 2-3 dollar per mile are ADVERTISED rates before any negotiations. This screenshot is 2 mins old searching gulfport ms area.

This is just the loads paying 1000.00 or more in first pic

Second pic shows rates on the short runs as well rates per mile.

Some of these are oversize, some are just regular ole standard legal loads
