I've seen a lot of trucks around my area and they are hiring for some kind of local/regional position. Looks like your gone maybe 2-4 days a week and sometimes your home every day. I'm just curious how well you could do working there and how the personal relationship is with the drivers/higher ups. I like knowing who I'm talking to and having some sort of mutual respect.
Also, how are they with getting you home/ being home on the major holidays?
Simx from cutler, IL info?

O ring on the head might have a crack in it. Have someone check head gasket....and pay special attention to the little rubber O rings.
Seen that happen alot. However based on what you are talking about I would check the oil cooler first. Have it pressure tested. -

Any info I'd have on them would be 12 or 13 years old. My mistake was taking TOO MUCH pride in what I did, which meant completing the job. One customer had a product that just wouldn't flow...might take 3-5 hours to empty your trailer. Heck, might have been the junk trailers they had back then. First trip I made to that customer with the dedicated trailer, my EMPTY weight was almost 50,000# because of the product the previous driver hauled back. You see, too many OTHER drivers would hook up, blow off for an hour or two, then quit and head back with whatever was still in the trailer. Customer complemented me, and from then on, I was stuck on that run because their customer liked seeing me show up and knowing they were getting ALL of the product they had paid for. Didn't pay ME nearly enough for the time involved, though, and I asked several times to get off that run. Never happened, so I took an hourly gig hauling logs with full benefits, nearly doubling the size of my paycheck.
Since then, they've upgraded their equipment. They were decent people to deal with back then, even got a ride home from the safety guy when I tendered my resignation.
It may work out well for you there, it may not...same as anywhere else. It all depends upon what you're looking for and what they have to offer these days. Like I said, it's been a while since I was there, so there's no telling what all has changed or what might still be the same.Dark_Majesty_06 Thanks this. -
Thanks @Pedigreed Bulldog . I'm just looking for quality home time every week.. the holidays home with my family and a better paycheck then what I make now.. which shouldn't be real hard. Benefits are a bit pricey at 160 a week for the family but it's better than the 350 a week aty current job.. on top of a 12,000 dollar deductible.
