I don't know how much trucks you plan to have? your approach is fine but wait t'ill you have 10-15 trucks your opinion will change.
Why don't you guys all park together in a truck or rest stop?

i would, and i do view driver resumes. how ever all i see are lengthy driver resumes. I can get them around home. so why pay to import drivers who may or may not stay??? i'm not the only company out there changing employment practices... everyone is!!!

This is still happening? Wow!

Good luck tell me more when your fleet will grow.....

sure! I'm trying to decide weather i want to put the other 5 i have back on the road. parked them after the holiday's. i got tired of hiring drivers for them every couple months. I was going broke over it. good thing is those 5 trucks are paid for. bad thing is even with the walk in drivers. 1 in 30 of them have a stable work history. stable to me is 2 jobs in 4 to 5 years. once in a while i might get that has had 1 job in 4 to 5 years. so right now it works out to be cheaper to leave them parked.

That will be quite enough name calling in this thread. Thank you.
