Ugh it's 94 official...107 on the dash...so they want 100-120 under ambient while sitting still.

Its a relatively new carrier trailer. It was sub -10 earlier empty. When I opened the doors it was like I cracked open snoop doggs front door.

You know...I'm not too unhappy with my Carrier APU. A side effect of it...my appliances seem to be working much better on the generator power with it than the inverter power from the ThermoKing. Mostly my george foreman and my GT Express omolette maker, basically fancy hot-plates.

Although I wonder if JCT would get mad if I cut a hole under my bunk into the middle compartment to create an "Intake" vent for the AC to pull in chilled cab air, instead of trying to cool off the hot underbunk air only. I'd do it professionally I swear ;) With a vent cover and everything.

I run my sleeper a/c at full blast an hour or so before I shut down to get the sleeper nice and chill, so my apu doesn't have to work as hard to maintain it. If my delivery times permit it I start my clock at 3am and shut down during the hottest part of the day, so my apu needs all the help it can get.

Yes....if I want to run my business into the ground and not capitalize on cheap fuel, buy expensive fuel on Friday wherever I am at......That's the strategy I'm going to use
