TK kept crying wolf with alarms "check fuel level" and "check fuel sensor." I was clearing the codes, as fuel level is fine, external gauge is working properly. Now codes won't clear, and course skinflint boss says to press on with an amber status light glaring in my mirror. Been holding -10° fine for two days.
TK false alarm won't clear

Duck tape over amber light.

That sensor is inside the tank and very unlikely a carrier will address it. It won't hurt anything but if you stay with that trailer you'll just have to check it each time you stop. I can hear mine stopping and starting going down the highway. Get your ears used to how it sounds and if you're going down the highway and it hasn't come on in awhile, you'll notice; happened to me several times since I started reefer.

bad internal fuel sensor or dirty plug/bad connection. the road side gauge is for the driver to know when to put fuel in. the one in the tank tells the unit ecu how much fuel is in the tank. nothing to worry about. it will get fixed when the trailer reaches the terminal yard. maybe!!!

They can take low fuel warning out of alarm list .. Being Canadian we often had the wire break due to slush hanging off it and had that code often till it was removed from list
