Right now I'm doing a shade under 200 miles a night with 4 stops. 12 hours a shift roughly. Only 3.5-4.5 is driving. I'm good right here.

I spent the first 15 years of my working career doing manual labor. I'm ok with driving 5-600 miles a night and not unloading anything or making more than 1-2 drop and hooks. doing less work and earning more money. like.

So anyways, to address the original main concern, can you tell us about if you have to use a handtruck and if so, please describe it?

The past 2 weeks i didn't have to use it at all, but apparently the "honeymoon" is over and i've had to use it the past 7 days----ALOT!

    Dominick253 and Mike2633 Thank this.

Funny... My hand truck is in my way 99% of the time. But when I do need it, I absolutely really need it

Yup. Yesterday was the first time I needed mine in a couple weeks, but I couldn't have made the delivery without it.

I've seen some P&D tractors with the hand truck on a rack in front. Actually that was probably slide door beverage trucks, but it would be a good place to keep it out of the way, when not needed. Of course you'd have to have a lock on it, and I doubt the environment would do it much good.
So, to be all set, you'd have the hand truck on the front bumper, a pallet puller and chain under the passenger seat, and a pallet jack secured in the trailer. What more could a P&D driver ask for?
