    Just wish they would get auto socks instead of chains.
    They are a lot safer only takes about 5 minutes to put all on vs 30 minutes for chains standing on the side of the road.

    O no, it's funny (NOT) I haven't been out west since March....amazingly there are no loads for me out that way spring or summer...bet they'll find some for me this fall/ winter....

    Poly had those, but by what some of the west coast regulars over there said, you have to watch not to drive on pavement with them because they literally sand themselves to pieces (like if the chain up area is too far away from the actual pass that required them to be put on).

    I had them when I was there and absolutely loved them but yes bare pavement with them is not good

    That's exactly what happened where I worked before. The favored sons got all those I'm the summer then in the winter never went above 40 in the winter.
