Looks like 0.5 miles and 5mph but I did peak at violations and it said I had an 'ignition' violation. I can't start my truck to activate the opti idle ?

No. Been there. They simply reassign it right back on you since I am the only driver of the truck

The BOT (speed) is where/when it will start the drive time IF they exceed the distance parameter (EOT) before an engine off event. That's the way mine seems to behave.

I can move my truck around a truck stop no problem. Just dont go over 5 or 10mph. If u planning on going across the street to the next truck stop, well u might have a problem

    GumboSnow Thanks this.

My qualcomm will change me over if i reach 1mile even if im under 15mph which is what mine is set for. I know this because i drop my trailer 1.01 miles from my house. When i start the truck and the qualcomm is fully booted up, when i get to where my trailer is, it will change over to driving just as im pulling in the lot. The speedlimit in my town is 25nph so i usually keep it at about 14mph. It will tick over every time

And keep in mind that legally you do not need to log drive time when driving on private property. So if log dept says you can't move truck, you've a pretty solid defense.
