Ah, U do have a way
U been quiet, everything ok?
Or just having fun on the brush hogtucker Thanks this. -
I haven't been quiet.. I went back to work today, Owensboro going up to Pittston,
I'm glad I went with a 6 foot bush hog , the old tractor powers it easily, but it's gas powered and gets hot and vapor locks, I'm on the lookout for cloth pins... LOL.
.
Me and my old pal, he had the trailer and the truck with AC, we went over to the dealer in Kentucky and got it, he's 66 and drives 65 to 70 in every 55 mph zone, tailgates 10 to 15 feet back, passes when he shouldn't and with me hanging on and complaining about his driving like an old woman.4mer trucker Thanks this. -

Here's where I quit in 2013. My old job had just called and wondered if everything was working out. If not come on back. Had a rough couple days with ops and just drove to nearest Crete terminal got a rental and emptied the truck out. Live and learn. hahatucker Thanks this. -
Had to put the truck in the shop in Columbus. Yee haw. Came down the hills on 75N out of Knoxville and my turbo started making a really loud roaring noise, so I nursed it to my delivery and pickup in Dayton. Getting it checked out and having them look at the check engine codes - 25% derate of the motor from the air intake. Hoping not much downtime. Got here last night, not sure how long this is going to take. Freightliner tech is under the hood looking at it now.
Had a good week though, by my standards anyway. I was used to KLLM and not getting 2k miles because of how much time I spent loading/unloading. Dayton - > Atlanta -> Cincinnati -> Dayton -> Columbus in just 4 or 5 days. Having to leave a load here on the yard for someone else to take would have put me over 2k for the week with another load or two to go. Bummed about the truck, but I do love the drop and hooks. -
...and there's a camera in my truck now.
tucker Thanks this. -
