    Day 10 complete. Orientation is over, start PGDT Sunday, first trip to New Orleans, LA. So impressed with the people and equipment at DOT. Ready to learn all this new information hands on. I made a great decision to become an employee at DOT and pass on other offers of employment. No regrets, ,Iiving the dream, here's to NEW BEGINNINGS! Safe miles everyone!

    i know the book, but in my 15 years out here, i have never had to take a test about it. Not even back in the cdl mega mill i went thru, did not test us on it. so it must be a company thing.

    Do they do urine or hair drug test? Lol I heard with hair they shave a spot on top of your head is that true?

    DOT does a urine test, the hair test doesn't leave a large bald spot for the sample they take. If you have to worry about a drug test probably the wrong company and career choice. First week is in the books, IL. to TN. to New Orleans, LA. to WI. to Home. About 2000 miles. Loving my new job and my trainer Jason, blessed more than I deserve! Weekend off and then TN & Louisiana again on Sunday. Blessings & safe miles everyone!

    Definitely not worried about the test its self. Just didn't want a bald spot on top of my head lol. But It seems to be a great company. I go to take my preemployment tests on Wednesday.
