I don't know if you know, but if you're allowed to run at night, USDOT light laws may or may not be on the permit. USDOT law states that you need steady amber burning on the widest part of the load on the sides, and red on the back. Some states enforce it some don't, just throwing it out there.

Some things never change. The ones who are mad at the world, continually unhappy, say there is no system to work with or within the framework.
The ones satisfied seem to think there is a system and work within it.
There's seems to be a direct correlation.
To many do this no matter where they go, they want things to be their way, not how things actually are.
They are here or they have left,, but continually try to convince the ones that are happy, that we are not.
I figured out whAT works for me here, I change and adapt constantly, the entire industry isn't the same as it was 30 years ago. And if you haven't adapted and changed then you have been left behind.
Like the eld, the ones that left have avoided it for a year and a half. The constantly post on every public webpage how they can't do this or that anymore. They admit to the world the have been playing with the logbook.
If they had half a brain, they would be shouting for flexibility of the 14 hour rule like we had in the days of 10 drive and 8 off.
Then we might get somewhere.
The rules haven't changed, simply how they are kept track of.Highway Sailor and Razorwyr Thank this. -
I ended up with a 100 mil e dh. To a load back up there

There are a few up there that would almost be worth the dh back to get the next one.

They filed their MCS-150 10 days ago, it looks like they went from 2470 to 2311. Nothing in terms of hard numbers were reported on the load bulletin board. The only number that was stated was 93 trucks that were exempt.mtoo Thanks this.

I think one of them told me it was like 1.35 loaded or empty pulling there trailer, he said Elogs ,low rates and too much sitting between loads was why he left after 6 yrs. Different strokes for different folks I guess, me I couldn't handle a dispatcher telling me where to go/ when to go / and how fast I needed to get there / when I can go home / how long I can stay home etc etc etc.
