I went through there last July about a week before it started, LOTS of bikes places around there, looked almost like motorcycle heaven. Myself I've been checking out the Harley tri-glide and freewhweeler models, I was originally going to switch to and adventure-touring bike such as the BMW GS series, but I thought long and hard about it. I pretty much walked away from the off-road stuff(hardly anywhere to ride here in NYS anymore) a few years ago when I traded my old Renegade 800x for a sport touring model Spyder. Not a bad machine, but the Harley machines do look a lot more comfortable, as well as the tri-glide model. Can-am also has the F3 cruising trike, but I don't care for the pedal-only braking system, and the "thumb trigger" semi-auto shifter. I guess I'm still a bit old fashioned about bike stuff I guess lol. I may be looking forward to moving into an auto-shift truck, but as for bikes(or trikes for that matter), I'd still rather have the clutch lever on the bars and a shifter to click with my foot.

Currently at home enjoying a few days off. They did a great job getting me home on time, even early in fact. my miles picked up again nicely last couple of months, and things are going much better now. Hopefully I'll be switching into that Volvo soon....:headbang:

Well.....survived my first real rush hour drive delivering into and getting back out of LA......I have discovered a new definition of insanity lol.

Also my route took me through that area of I 15 where that big wildfire ripped through the area last weekend. Looked lie something out of a WWIII film. Even the weigh station there was burned to the ground. Wow.

Speaking of atlanta. That is where I am unloading now. Then down to the florida border for second stop. Yes L.A. Is crazy. Not so bad when you get used to it.
