Don't go through any lease purchase. You can make those work but the odds are against you. Your best bet is to get your own financing or go to a place that works with lenders to help you get financing. This, of course, is if you don't have the money to buy one with cash. Be expecting a good size down payment if this is your first truck purchase. Also, if you're getting an older truck it would be a good idea to have minimum $10k in the bank for breakdown & repairs. You can get lucky & make it without the $10k stash but it's a big risk. No matter where you go have the truck checked out yourself. Don't take the sellers word for anything unless you know them very well or unless they have paperwork to prove their claims. Even then, it's not a bad idea to still have it checked out yourself.

Check with a bank or two about a SBA loan which generally has a good rate as the government backs it. Also, International is advertising very attractive full service lease deals.

I went to GE Capital for my trailer and they were great for financing. I don't know if they do trucks.

Good point. I forgot about them. They do finance trucks. I need to check them myself.

I know a drvr that just got a t660 from loan mountain, from what he said they gave em a good deal on a 2013. It's an old Melton trk and they gave em the option of keeping the side box and the headache rack on it 4 $500 extra I believe
