Magnum ltd - fargo, nd

I seem to have developed this recurring nightmare that always wakes me up.

I find myself waking up in the middle of the night wondering how i got in the bed and why i came back here to sleep while the truck is still moving. I think about how lucky i am im still alive and didn't hit anyone.

Obviously the truck is not moving because I'm in the back sleeping and parked safely somewhere.

I then try to make my way to the drivers seat to take control.

Then i really wake up and come to my senses... Dude... It's ok. You parked here. You're just sleeping.

This has happened at least 3 times that i know of in the past month.

"awake" me thinks it's funny.

 

Lol, one night after picking up in Lima and waiting and waiting for them to actually load I had a similar "dream".

I drove a couple of hours just to get a little closer to Coon Rapids and ended up pulling into a service area in Ohio. Well I was sitting waiting to do my post trip and I fell asleep in the seat, only to suddenly wake up and grab the wheel thinking that I was going to crash! After I came to my senses I laughed and laughed and then went to bed...

Ah the joys of driving a truck, sleeping in a mobile studio apartment and changing your work schedule on a weekly basis. Enjoy the holiday and drive safe ya'll

 

Well, since we're admitting our dreams...I dreamt that I drove 21k miles the month before last....dayyyummm what a nightmare.

 

I dreamt I got to drive all over the country on a road trip sampling all kinds of good food!

 

...and it was all free

 

That's no dream, it's what U do....lol

 

And the ole boy is pretty da.. good at it too! He surely has an eye and a nose for good food and having fun while out here. Wish I could be more like him....

Made it home early Sunday morning delivering Tuesday. Nice for some unexpected home time

 

I sure do miss @Xeres63. Hes trying to be like the fisherman in 1558. Except he's the Pitmaster aka the former Prick in 1508!
