Just armchair quarterbacking.... I would be looking for a water leak from the windshield area.

I am not hating on them to much. I was over on the choise program for a year and it was good at first but they really messed it up over there. When I was in orientation, I couldn't believe how little time they have the new lease ops to check out there trucks before they had to sign the lease, not to mention the fact they didn't allow the drivers time to really read the massive thing before they had to sign it.

What questions do you have about Prime's lease program? I along with many others on here can help answer them as best as we can. You'll find a lot of trolls on here try to give false info about the program as well, so just keep an eye out for them.

I wouldn't count on the Prime shop for much more than changing parts, I have not had much luck with them as far as being able to diagnose a problem. They are basically parts changers.. Couple examples, Fuse blew for the outside fan on the APU, they replaced fuse, wtf moment, it didn't register in the techs mind to check why the fuse blew..... Purge valve leaks when cold, they couldn't find a problem, and wouldn't replace as asked.... Took it over to dealer who said, oh yeh we been having problems with those and replaced it. Another wtf moment.. I remember having an issue with the throttle control years ago, they didn't even look at it, sent it over to Power service guys....

    Yeah that's very fair.

I'd best not be asking all those questions here. Going to way hijack the thread if I do. But, let's just say I want to know everything. I keep driving this pumpkin and I keep wondering if I'm leaving a pile of money on the table.

Stop throwing money at the intermittent cruise issue. It's a well known problem with cascadias. It's been an issue in every one I've had, 2013, 2015, and 2016. Sometimes downshifting from 10th to 8th and going back up to 10th will fix it, sometimes you have to stop and shut the truck and master battery switch off.

Right, mine does that too. I learned if I shut the truck down with the cruise control light on, next start up the cruise will not work. Also helps when starting, turn the key to the On position and wait a few seconds for all the self tests to complete before starting, and cruise usually works no problems. But I wouldn't put it in the shop for that I agree.

Third here saying stop throwing money at the cruise issue. It's a known problem that's very minor in the grand scheme.

Two on the fly tricks to get the cruise back, if it's not something interfering with the sensor unit on front bumper.

Turn cruise on/off/on very quickly, then set speed. May need to try few times.

Other situation requires a quick double tap of service break. Do not need to slam on brakes, just need to quickly double tap the pedal.
