If you must know it is because I dust my dash down with my underwear, therefore they require extra cleaning beyond what a 30 minute machine could do.

Oh, OK. I didn't know. I never wear underwear while I'm dusting the dash. Thanks for the clarification.

Trip to my family Dr. recently, she's also a former Army MD, we got to discussing trucking, even though she knows I come home every night, her recommendation was to carry Desinex or Tinactin and use it regularly after using communal showers, even if they are cleaned after every use. Not all those germs get cleaned, even if it's cleaned 10x per day. Not mention, how many times are you in the cab of your truck barefoot, on the same surfaces that you might have been on with grimy shoes or the general dirt that floats around.

I have flip flops that are in my shower "go bag". Drying them off after a shower is no big deal and takes about a minute. After showering I step onto the floor towel and lean my flip flops against the wall to allow them to drain while I shave. When it is time to pack them into my bag I use an extra towel to finish drying them off. I don't get the concept about having to pack your wet shower shoes.

I gave up on having any white clothes early on in my trucking career. Why do two separate washes when one laundry bag equals one wash? Not only that, but getting oil or grease on dark colored clothes doesn't show up as much.
