wasn't me, I'm back in my assigned 579 and came up to Evansville from San Antonio.

well it happened, A Heartland Express driver ran into my truck at the Oakwood IL pilot. Took out my grill, AC, and bumper. Its been at stoops freightliner for 2 weeks now. I was sound asleep. midnight thirty and all hell breaks loose. I didn't know what was going on for a second. By the time I got my pants and shoes on I couldn't tell who hit me. Luckily another driver told me where he had parked, and that he was dragging my bumper around behind his trailer. He tried in his broken English to act like he didn't realize he hit me. But he was holding my bumper in his hand. His trailer hooked my bumper long enough to pull my truck over about a foot. miserable night after that, not having ac. THATS TRUCKING ! I GUESS ?

 

That sucks !!!
This is why i now have a dash camera and leave it on 24/7..
Do you drive for big g ?

 

No I don't have the experience yet. Im with J.B. Hunt for now. I started with CRST, Lasted 6 months. couldn't take the sitting on weekends and low pay. Been here 4 months now. Im otr, looking to transfer to a dedicated account after 6 months. pretty good, very slow trucks. They even govern the rev's, so that part sucks. But its good equipment. 2015 Cascadia, with only 100k when I got it.

 

You may have enough experience to be hired now...just tell them big g was always your goal..

 

Does big g hire teams?

 

Not really.....we dont have team freight since we are a regional company....
That being said we do have about six teams of people who hired on as a solo then teamed with a family member or spouse got cdl....the team pay is not good and all short runs for teams
