I was giving this fuel pamphlet some thought and it must not be as important as it might seem, what I mean by that is if they wanted drivers to follow it they would be giving them out in orientation. I know they used to but when I went through 5 months ago nothing was mentioned about it and it seems that newer drivers are not getting them either. I know we can get fuel whenever we need it but it's just a thought.

As long as there isn't any other warning light on it means it is set for a/c, but the sleeper air temp is colder than the thermostat setting.

Yep... I made it known Im up for a western load. I told them I'd like to go at least once before winter. I've been to Miles City, MT twice in the past 6 months but no further west. I'll run this truck anywhere. But if they won't offer me at least one load that way while the weather is decent, don't bother offering me one after winter has set in. They can call whoever was running west all summer and I'll go to New Jersey where it felt like I ran all summer. ;)

I was worried I was the only one. I went through orientation back in March and didn't get the fuel map either. I didn't even know about it until I was reading about it on here a month or two after I started. I had bought fuel in WI at least twice that I remember by that time. Nobody ever said anything. Somebody posted it on here for me and whether the company still uses it or not, I've gone by it ever since.

For some silly reason I thought WA and OR were red on my map, but once I dug it out, they are green...like the one posted. I guess I don't know it all after all. :(

Finally got the chance to get my nasty truck washed. Every time I had some down time, or time on a load, I wouldn't be near a Beacon...then when I was near one, I didn't have time on the load. Stopped in SLC, only waited in line 30 or 40 minutes. Kinda surprised it wasn't backed up to the interstate, it is bright and sunny with 0% chance of rain.
