I stoped at the Florence terminal once. Seems like a pretty well run terminal. Very nice people there.
MayhemTrucking Thanks this. -
What is A&Rs pay like? I used to see them all the time loading at the rail yard in Atlanta? Just wondered how they pay you for loading like that because I noticed those drivers would have to load some then scale, load some more then scale.
Looked like they ate up some time doing that. What's the cpm pay? Any layover or delay pay? -
90 lbs 6 times????? Is this an Olympic outfit?
-
AR fitness test is stupid. Even drivers there admit that.
I think pay is .35/.50 and $45 load/unload. Detention at $20 after 2 hours I think.
Don't take this as gospel, going off my memory. About 6 months since I talked to them.tscottme and rubberducky68 Thank this. -
I have a interview with the Atlanta terimal this week is a good terimal to run out of. And wondering what's the average amount of loads you do a week
-
Update us on how the interview goes. I am curious about A&R. I have read mixed reviews on them.
-
I started out at .47 Loaded and .32 empty a mile. $45 to load $45 to unload. Detention is $22 an hour.. After you get 3 bonuses you go up to .50 loaded and .33 empty. The bonus is $250 a month based on fueling where they tell you to go and Idle time.

I loaded out of the Atlanta Terminal once when I first started out at A&R. The terminal manager was really nice. When I was loading at the rail yard one of the driver trainers was there and helped me out with a question I had. He seemed very friendly. All the drivers I talked to at the terminal were very friendly as well. The number of loads you get a week depends on if you are regional, local or system (OTR) driver.

I worked at A&R for almost 2 years. Here is a link to my thread with my experience at the company
