New to Prime INC - What to expect (Springfield edition)

Is it true you pay upfront now? I was told you made payments weekly, a 500 dollar fee would make it impossible for me to go for my October 10 orientation.

 

I understand they are currently feeding 100 people a week through there.

All the feed back i have gotten so far is all positive.

Currently expect to be there Oct. 3rd

 

I wonder how many are actually still around after TNT?

 

Usually 90-95% that make it through the training program are with Prime a year after they finish the TNT program.

As for the 100/week that come through orientation, there quite a few that get bounced before the end of the week because of failing the drug test, not able to past the DOT physical, or they lied about something on there application.

So out of a class of 100, I would say 25-40% wash out before they even get to the training stage. Another 10-15% wash out during PSD phase. Usually once they make it TNT the number that wash out is less then 5%. So if you add all that up you should get 100% BS .

Ok, in all honesty, I would say you'll see 20% washout of the program before they finish the TNT program. Most of that is during orientation.

 

Was also curious about something.
Have heard conflicting stories on this.

Non smoking trainers, I quit smokeing 2 -3 years back, during initial interview, recruiter asked about a smoking or non smoking trainer, I would of course prefer a non smoker, but if it was going to delay my psd, i would go with a smoking trainer.
Have heard that non smoking trainers are in short supply so it might delay the start of training both psd and tnt.

Comments, thoughts etc....

 

3 guys including myself sat around for an extra week or so because they couldn't find trainers that smoked. That was out of SLC.

 

Fail the physical. I lulz'd!

 

Bad idea. The smokers chain smoke. You really want to live in a box with a chain smoker through winter? Good luck with that.
