How do you deal with noisy people at motels ?

    I call the loud room and tell them I am motel security and if they don 't pipe down they will be evicted. Works everytime. (So far no one has figured out it's only their neighbor in the next room calling)

    I tend to stay in hotels that aren't the bottom of the barrel. Some Days Inns are nice, but most I've come across are not so much. Like someone else said, they've fallen a ways. I have noticed that the decibel level of the neighbors seems to go higher as the room rates go lower.

    Then again, I'm often outside peak hours. Like today for instance...on my 10hr now and I think the hotel is completely empty except for staff and the landscapers outside.
