Yes, and that hair follicle test really sucks. They started that a few months ago.

Werner now does hair tests? That's something I didn't know till now.Wonder if their disqualifications have risen because of the hair tests.

A company that large is probably losing a few over the hair follicle.

I wonder when they started that.As long as Werner is seeing profits they don't care who gets disqualified. They would probably rather lose the veterans then the new drivers to keep the wage down.

Any driver that fails a drug test, urine or hair follicle needs to be gone. I don't care how long they've been with a company.

I am surprised at how lax testing is in the industry, in non-trucking industries any company or corporation that does business with defense related companies are required by contract to randomly test a certain percentage of their employees per year. I have yet to read on here, or any other trucking industry forum where it is being done, not sure how the industry is able to steer clear of them. It will happen eventually, and I wonder how many will fail when it does? I know from experience we would loose at little over 17% a year to random tests, and they knew it going in. Some would quit the same day to avoid termination, some would stick it out and when in called in about their test would only say the test was wrong, and ask if they could quit in lieu of termination.

You'd have to pay me 50cpm plus $100 per unload to even consider that account. All of the miles you lose driving on the back two lane roads, backing into those tiny parking lots, unloading a trailer when it's 90 degrees outside without knowing if you'll get a shower that night...for 43cpm...brutal.
