Yeah... got the trailer fixed, just gonna get this next load and deliver into CA and hopefully get out of that region for a while.

 

I am in ontario right now gotta a couple more deliveries on this 5 stop load. Then don't know after that

 

This one looks to be very tight...... good thing I have a new truck and trailer, I got 3 of those CHP coops to deal with....goes up to just south of San Francisco area, so that's a new one. I looked on google earth and it looks like the place has a staging area, but in considering taking the 8hour split on the way up and finishing up the other part while I wait to unload.

 

@Anonymousproxy. What is up with these dispatchers all of a sudden. Tried to inform one of a potential issue with this load. I like to be proactive. And this person responded with that condescending your wrong and stupid driver attitude. All it does is mess with my anxiety issues.

On the bright side I am loading by Stockton tonight going to Atlanta

 

Wish I knew... over the past few months things were pretty good. Made it to my delivery SF area last night by the skin of my teeth, fortunate they allowed me to stay here until unloading was done. Had to tell dispatch I could be late for my next p/u because this place is taking its time... long enough for my Elogs to reset. Fortunately the mood at the office end seemed to be better. I'm also noticing every scale I've gone through in this state has been red-lighting me on prepass. Hoping to get east over Donner. I looked at the forecast, thankfully no snow but lots of wind,.,,

 

@Anonymousproxy I am happy that you finally got your new truck. I didn't want to say anything until you got yours, but I got one the last week of June. I think it was because the miles were so high on mine. I really like this truck. Only complaints are 1 not having the smart pass, but the cruise will go to 67 2 the hill start assist, wish we could permanently disable it. 3 The mattress sucks, so miss the mattress I had in the cascadia. The loads seem to be looking better. I am on my 2nt 3000+ mile load in a row.

 

Picked up in cali, headed to Wisconsin for the weekend, not a bad run, dragged my butt over the pass into sparks, weather is supposed to get a bit nasty through Donner so I decided to blow through there and put it in my back pocket. They did a bang-up job of re-doing the petro,,, bit of an old-west theme to it--kind of cliched but then again this is the old west lol. Nice to be able to have a sit-down meal for once. I'd been living off fast food and whatever I could nuke in the microwave for the last few days, and it'll be nice to have a normal night's sleep. Currently counting the days till vacation ...2 1/2 weeks and I'm wheels-up to Asia.

 

Found out today that you have to ask for a raise, they will not just automatically give you one. Mike said that if money is important to you, you will ask for it.

 

Now everybody is gonna ask for a raise
