Wish they would do that to 5 south of Portland also

 

I don't pay much attention to the 55 speed limit. as long as you aren't passing the 4 wheelers they pretty much leave you alone.

 

I definitely can't wait till vacation.... this week opened on a good note, got into the consigned to unload and it only took them 1/2 am hour to pull the load off, sign my papers and send me on my way...and I was early!! Lol. Funny because I had already stopped and got washed up and some food on the way in, expecting a long wait based on the reviews of the place I was delivering at.....today isn't starting so good. Got into the shipper right next door, and I can say the shipping staff isn't all that friendly to drivers. On top of that the idiots thought it was ok to shove the entire load into the front of my trailer making me 2000 lbs over on the drives, and that's with all the adjustment I could get out of the trailer and fifth wheel. Luckily they started working on it right away.... now I got news of a pile-up going south on 41..... god I hate this part of Wisconsin....

 

@Anonymousproxy have you considered writing a book. Your words are eloquent and spelled correctly. And entertaining. And grammatically correct. It should be called takes of the anonymous trucker

 

I thought of something along those lines but I'm not that great at it lol.

Finally got out of there, I half expected from the shipping clerk's attitude it was going to be an all day wait, but they got it adjusted. Went to scale it again and this time it was perfect. So far the ishift is still working great.

 

Does anybody know of a truck stop or hiding place within 20 mins of waupin wi

 

There's a small truck stop at the corner of Hwy 33/26, Minnesota Junction WI.
About 10 spots.
