Stay away from national carriers Irving Texas and liberal ks out of a big class of 50, I'm the only one left and I was fired yesterday. I was fired for refusing to deliver a load in Georgia with Mathew approaching. I stayed out for three months till I went home last week. I was 9I per cent on time but if you buck them a little they have it in for you.I'm not kidding. Every week they have orentation. The drivers don't last a month. They want you to drive 8 hours straight and if you take a hour break, the dispatcher would call you.He would call you when you're in a traffic jam as well asking why aren't you moving. We called this chain gang trucking.
National carriors is a bad company

Guess this company doesn t need the drivers. How long did you work for them?

Sounds like they are trying to micro-manage their drivers

It's been nearly 4 hours since the original post. Is their any RECENT info on this company? I'm set up for orientation tomorrow and just want an idea of what I'm getting into.
Lonesome Thanks this. -
Just how recent you talken?4 hrs is pretty recent. But how long as he had issues with the company before he got fired.Who knows you may like it.I know some dispatchers target certain drivers while others like where they're at.

Been there done that. 2002 I was there. Pulling meat loads out of Liberal or Dodge City. The loads almost always exceed the drop dead time. (The latest time a load of beef can be released without having to reschedule the appointment on the other end). I've sat and waited for 3 to 4 hours past the drop dead time and they STILL want you to make the original appointment. These are known as "mission impossibles" you cant fit 11 oz of water in a 10 oz glass. Lmao. Are these people a special kind of stupid?
