I can't really comment on the lease program as I was just a company driver when I worked there. From what I've gathered though, their lease program is mediocre at best.

    Who you driving for now?

To answer that question their lease isn't the greatest. At this point I hate to say it but I'm assuming they're saying anything to fill empty seats. They still email me or call me from time to time. Good luck I would try something else if I was you.

I just hit for 40K for the year and I was hired on 6 months ago with no per diem. schugel was a good stepping stone.

I hope everyone is doing good, has a great and job , is safe and still trucking. Take care and keep the wheels turning!

Yes, but you need to come to this company knowing their lanes. JR Schugel is a Midwest to Northeast company. I need to stress this. Schugel is a Midwest to Northeast company! Say this a million times! You will run Minneapolis area though to Chicago and Columbus and into Pennsylvania with the occasional Jersey and Maryland. You can make money there, but don't expect more than Midwest to Northeast. LOTS of Minnesota to Illinois and Pennsylvania. OCCASIONALLY, and I mean once in a good while, when you're doing good you'll get the occasional California trip. These almost always come out of Minnesota. Never expect these. You will also, and again OCCASIONALLY head down to Atlanta and Florida. These are more frequent than California loads, but not as frequent. Good group of folks otherwise. Ask for New Ulm Orientation. It's much better. Dry van runs a little different lanes, and dry van has a few Salt Lake City and Idaho loads, that are Schugel's regular lanes.

If you want low paychecks, sitting at receivers for hours, a night dispatch that's useless, mechanics that are non friendly, and constantly running through Chicago area, I30 and going to the northeast a lot, jump all over it. I repeatedly had to beg for miles. Told my dispatcher that 600 dollar a week paychecks don't cut it. Well, after you subtract the per diem off that whopping .39 a mile,,,,,,,waste of my time.
