At-fault accident

We had a driver rollover a truck. His supervisor advised him "get another job before the company procedure ends in a termination."

As a professional we cannot allow ourselves to be distracted by beautiful sirens.

 

OK, so far its been assumed that you rear ended some one. Is that the case or did someone rear end you?

 

That advice while it sounds OK depending on the carrier can cause MAJOR problems later on. Lets say today you have a rollover accident. You then get a job with say JB HUNT and do not put the accident on the app or inform them of it. JB HUNT will by the end of OCT 2017 have to do a yearly review. Every CDL holder holding a job driving a CMV local or OTR , IT DONT MATTER IS SUBJECT TO THIS YEARLY REVIEW. It is true that a lot of companies do this as a mattter of routine and nothing is really looked at. However most of the bigger companies do look at the information gleaned. If your rollover accident now shows (and it is sure too) in that review you might lose your job. If you do lose your job because of this now you got 2 major strikes against you.
