I wonder if VR can work for games like euro truck, but more prefer American truck simulator. Camera lock on ####pit and use a VR to look out your windows and mirrors.

When I started trucking, basically handed a CDL and keys I didn't know how to backup and got myself in a bad situation, like USA truck did but not as bad and not on video. I start using euro truck sim and practice there for hours. I game itself is kinds boring but I just bought it just for the backing up part.

That would be very doable I think. I mean virtual reality is available to the public right now with that one cell phone and the goggles. That might be even more realistic than a video game on a console. Since you are in the game per say. And where you look is more realistic than the stationary view on current games.

Why worry about it? Just drive for Budweiser. You can just push the button 'Parallel Park Here' or 'Dock In Door 17' and be done with it.

Or, if you get in a bind somehow, just hit 'HELP!!!' and an Uber driver will come fix it for you.

Aarrons, the saying "you can't teach old dogs new tricks" applies here. Most of the older drivers grew up in a different world than we have today. It's no fault of theirs, but they probably don't understand technology and pass it off as not needing it. Especially in a training scenario.

Just look at how far we've come. Less than a hundred years ago and the technology we had, barely got us out of the atmosphere. Now some 50+ years later, and you have Elon Musk with his first plans to be on Mars by 2022....

Our technology is doubling every year, but somehow, the technology in trucking is not allowed to go anywhere according to some.
