Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought a trucker jacket was black with a cat on it

Good question. My late father was like that, over cautious about colors. Not only telling me that I shouldn't wear blue or red but also his grand sons. It would be ridiculous to take me for an associate of either of the gangs you mentioned. But the 18th has members of many ages and ethnic backgrounds.

Yeah color of clothing I believe still has something to do with it depending on the gang but now you're Inc tattoos that is says a lot about you so if you accidentally get the wrong tattoo you can be in trouble there's a bike club pretty big one Nationwide that I won't mention any names of but a buddy of mine has a tattoo with similar markings really the markings aren't that close if you were to put their cut next to my buddies tattoo they wouldn't be the same but looking at the tattoo without the cut next to it someone might think that it's spot-on so anytime we go to a bike rally or a bike swap meet he's always covering it up

Cat is nice but they should show some love to Detroit. Kittys get up and run when they quit stumbling around the hills. It's the Detroits that kick em in the ### to keep them pointed downgrade.

I hear you! Fact is, it's easier to carry concealed when you have a bit of weight on you. I remember my first several years of being LE, being skinny made ccw a bit "interesting."

    +1 for Carhartt.

Not too often that you see a blonde haired, blue eyed Crips or Blood!;)

I dunno, CAT lost any preference I might have had for them, when they moved away from trucking.

Yeah Carhartt and I'm sure you guys are familiar with Dickies clothing in my book Carhartt gets the vote I've got two Carhartt jackets one I've had for 12 years that's kind of my garage jacket and the other one I've had for 6 but all the stitching in the seems is still holding up and both jackets you'll blow out an elbow or the zipper break before the jacket ripped apart kind of like the old Ford F-150s back in the early nineties the truck always fell apart around the engine those engines last forever I had one I put three hundred and seventy-five thousand miles on it and it was still running when I junk it man I never should have got rid of that truck I still kick myself to this day LOL

This thread mentioning the gangs reminds me of a funny story.

I was working another line of work and a friend had to do three months at the Los Angeles honor ranch for DUI. We worked in support services for a well known entertainment firm. The bosses all told my friend not to worry about his job as it would be waiting for him. Nice of them.

Well, he came back to work and a couple of the executives were welcoming him. One said "It looks like the experience did you good. You look fit, healthy. Did you get some exercise there?"

"Oh yeah, I got exercise" my friend replied, "where else do you get to play softball with the crips against the bloods?"

The exec almost fell out of his chair laughing.
