Bottom Feeder Really?

I have read now several posts in which some of these "big men" semi drivers are calling hot-shot and smaller car haulers broke ### bottom feeders running busted up trucks and it's our fault and only our fault rates are in the dump. No Mr. Big Rig driver it's not our fault. It's the cheap greedy brokers and shippers along with the true bottom feeders the guys running around with no DOT numbers no insurance requirements pulling U-Haul dollies in Ford Explorers from the 90's doing it. You cant tell me there isn't enough work out there for everyone to get a piece of the pie. Yeah you guys have more expenses running semi trucks, fuel maint. tires and so on, but guess what, I pay the same insurance required to run yeah $1 MILLION DOLLAR Liability and have $250,000 cargo insurance along with all the other stuff I have to pay. UCR fees, annual fees to Secretary of State for my biz license, accountants, fuel maint. repairs all that. The only difference is I am running a smaller truck than you. And for all you who say were are broke ### bottom feeders with busted up trucks. I have the title free and clear on my new 2016 Ram 2500 and the title free and clear on my brand new 2017 Kaufman trailer yeah own them outright and not on a credit card but with cash. I also own my 2 bedroom home in the mountains free and clear with 5 acres of land and its not a trailer either. So watch who you say is broke and busted up.
I have never been disrespectful to anyone on here, I try to ask questions and learn stuff from you all. I am not a know it all, what I am is a hard working american citizen trying to make a living doing what I love. I don't have a CDL so what, if I want it I can go get it I had it before. I chose not to right now that's my choice. I respect everyones opinion on here and enjoy coming here but I wont be called a broke bottom feeder or take the blame for something I am not causing. I'm sorry if this offends anyone but it irked me to see what is supposed to be a group of people helping one another out and a place to talk about different stuff in the industry, not a place to come and berate other people.
When I started towing in 99 we had the Thin Yellow Line which was a brotherhood of Towers and it's somewhat around today. I thought this forum was part of that too but with comments about other people following the rules and doing everything legit it seems like a who has a bigger D then the next guy and its stupid.

OK that's my rant if your offended sorry but if people got the right to say how they feel so do I Hope everyone had a great holiday and please stay safe out there on the roads. God Bless

No I have seen a few posts in other forums like the auto hauler forum and some of the trucking posts. I apologize for coming off like a raving maniac but it irks me when people assume things about everyone and they don't even know individual circumstances behind each person. Again I wans't trying to offend anyone merely ranting

 

I definately am NOT an elitists and maybe I did come off like an ### I apologize I was really pissed off because these big shot haulers think they should be the only ones doing this because they have the big trucks and do all the hard work which is farther from the truth. I am not an arrogant person and when I saw how I worded this post it came across that way and it's wrong. I am sorry for that. I do hope the friends I have on here can forgive my short temper and just go on being the friends and help they are to me
