Is lease purchase better with a Husband/Wife team ?

Why do you consider a lease purchase a short cut. They would make more money, have more freedom, and then own the truck when the lease is over.

 

Not all lease purchases end up with you owning the truck. Hirschbach's is not aimed at that. Once the lease is over you have a $40,000 buy out, which is just what the truck is worth.

If you lease it from Lone Mountain, you end up owning the truck but Lone Mountain will charge you more per month to run it as a team. That is because the more miles you put on the truck the faster the value runs down.

Most people on this site react to the Lease Purchase route because so many of them are so totally in favor of the companies. It is my belief that running as a couple team you can save so much money that in two years you can buy your own truck with a really nice 110 plus sleeper.

Of course spending 24 hours a day 7 days a week with your spouse could land you in prison.

I want you to listen to what I am telling you. DONT DO A LEASE PURCHASE!! I dont care what carriers tell you or other drivers. I tried to explain it the best way I can why its such a bad idea. Even OOIDA, lawyers and other learned people will tell you NOT TO DO IT!

Last but not lease I dont know what part of "YOU HAVE NO RIGHTS TO THE TRUCK" you do not understand! You are still a company driver! I can list dozens of lawsuits to prove this.

If you want to do a lease purchase anyway I cant stop you. All I can do is warn you and give you the facts. I told you what I can. If you opt to act like a giddy child because you think the company is selling you a truck and you can own your own business.....if you really believe this medicine show scam then go and do it and learn the hard way. I will have a nice heaping cup of "I told you so" when you get back.

 

If I was a husband and wife I would look at doing some security loads (Military and DOD loads) for a reputable carrier. These pay much much better. And they have excellent benefits. No grocery or retail store warehouses/distribution centers to deal with.

Basically to do this you must have a clean background and be a US citizen....and a good driving record. And dont look and dress like a slob. Be a true professional.

That is my advice.

PS Be sure to do your homework and check out the carrier. Check out everything about them you can. Always be skeptical regarding what the recruiter tells you. I dont care what company you go to...always check them out just as hard as they check you out.

 

Those military jobs are few and far between. a husband and wife can make good money in a lease purchase program. it may have not worked out for you and others but I do very well and know many others who do a's well

 

I recommend panther or fedex custom critical straight truck if wanna lease/purchase
