I know; why so quiet lately? You haven't posted much the past few weeks.

 

Hey... It can be a tough call out here these days... I met a dude driver who was by birth a lady a few days ago. I wouldn't have guessed it. Lol.
It's a mad world!

Heck I don't know.I look over all the threads and if I know anything about that thread I'll post otherwise i'll leave the comments to the experts.

Look into Roehl they pay for everything and you get paid $500 per week while you train. I just finished my first week of the Roehl (get your cdl program) and so far I have only paid for my clp itself (about $14 in TN)
So far I am a fan they are very professional so far and teach a lot more than the basics you need to get the cdl.
You do have to commit to staying with them for a certain amount of miles for them to waive the expense (12-14 months worth of driving) so keep that in mind. they also help with things like travel to the school, all accommodation and at least 1 meal a day (lunch) your hotel will supply breakfast.
It's not the solution for everyone but it's working out for me.
my plan is to stick with them for a couple years keep a clean record and get some experience behind me then decide what I want to do.

 

I start C.R. England Monday. For me (a veteran) the school is free provided I stay with the company 6 months. I believe the school is payed for up front by the company for everyone else...and then you pay the cost back a little at a time.
