Next truck. I swear to god next truck. Been saying that for five years though.
Asked Randy about them, he said he got tired of fixing them, so maybe not. Don't know if he was using the above brand or a cheaper version.Last edited: Dec 18, 2016

I get snow on the upper parts of my windshield so I was looking at maybe getting something like this.

Ford had A good idea in the 80's (only 1). They had a windshield that had a micro thin coating of metal. They looked gold or bronze from the outside. But they would run a small electrical current thru that metal and it would heat the entire windshield like a rear window defroster. Not sure why they don't have it today, maybe too expensive of an option, or too expensive to replace. A friend had one on his Crown Vic, said it worked great.
Just found this on youtube...it's only in European countries but would be nice over hereLast edited: Dec 18, 2016

I found this on a Toyota FJ forum, which seems perfect as it plugs right into a 12v.

Ok dumb question....
I deleted the message about idling in the winter a while back. How do I increase idle to 1000 rpm to prevent DPF clogging over night???
