My driver's side wipe quit working at night coming down hwy 93 from Kalispell to Missoula on probably the darkest part of the road. I probably drove another 5-6 miles before finding a good place to stop. Nut had come loose on the wiper arm. If you have a 13mm wrench it is an easy fix. Luckily I had my metric crescent wrench with me.

Around here the local DOT check your washer bottle for fluid if it is low or empty they will cite you, lucky you didn't get inspectedToomanybikes Thanks this.

I always made sure fluid was full.Nothing I can do when the wiper motor all of a sudden stops now is there?

I strongly think you need to inform them, even if you payed is theirs truck, honesty will get you any where...
-
Same thing happened to me and lucky that I also had a spare... Always good to have one, but always call the company before u take matters into your own hands... always cover your ###

Is that you xrayman4000? My post was a joke I was having a little fun at the expense of our original poster who shut down a million dolloar load over a $5 wiper blade.

It wasn't an accident. It was intentional.

A little electrical tape wrapped around that "bare metal end" will make it nice and soft so it don't groove your window. Like the boy scout motto....BE PREPARED!
