Anybody ever been cited or hassled for not displaying a current IFTA sticker? If so, how far into the new year did this happen?
I've gotten the new permit (license) page via Transflo On Demand and I will leave it to the higher powers at the main office to figure out how they are going to get my truck and the sticker united.
Seems I've heard there is a 15 day grace period for displaying the sticker [as long as you have a current IFTA license]

Okay good. Grace period extends through February.
Veteran driver Thanks this. -
I get things done by using FedEx next day when I know where the driver is going to be at. Even making arrangements to send it to a FedEx franchise can make it happen. ALSO the USPS still holds mail for pickup, they've been doing that for the last century.

Only 28 days in Feb.....or did I miss the memo again?......

My permit department says there is no grace period. The back of the sticker says not to apply in temps below 40 F, but it expires on January 1st. Who the hell is the genius who figured out that equation?

R655 GRACE PERIOD
.200 Carriers renewing their IFTA license and decals have a two-month grace period (January and February) to display the renewal IFTA license and decals. To operate in IFTA jurisdictions during this grace period, carriers must display either valid current or prior year IFTA license and decals from the jurisdiction in which they were operating or a valid singletrip permit from the IFTA jurisdiction in which they are operating.
Carriers must display one or more of the following to travel through IFTA member jurisdictions for the first two months of 2017.
- A valid 2017 IFTA license and two IFTA decals issued by an IFTA member jurisdiction.
- A valid 2016 IFTA license and two IFTA decals from an IFTA member jurisdiction (if a renewal application has been filed for 2017); or
- A valid trip permit issued by the IFTA member jurisdiction through which they are operating.
