Saw something interesting when I was leaving the cities the other day. The roads were snow covered and crappy, traffic was a mess, and I noticed a funeral procession getting on the interstate being lead by a motorcycle cop. It was a standard police issue bike, but with the frame of a side-car without the body, kinda like an outrigger. I was impressed, cars were spinning out, and wrecking, but here is this poe-poe out escorting a funeral on a bike managing to keep it going in the right direction...and, not getting run over in the process.

Left Billings at 0400 made my deliver to Jamestown at 1400 leaving at 1630 reloaded with appt time for tomorrow at 1100. Didn't even have to move out of the dock. Fargo now 4 degrees. I don't know why 4 degrees in Fargo fells a whole lot colder than the -10 this morning at Miles City when I got fuel.

I tried, but it does feel better with the "fix" they did.

My company tried putting one new steer tire on my truck. I got with the ops director and explained to him that is was going to effect the handling of the truck and that I wouldn't drive it like that. He eventually saw my point and had the other steer replaced.

Do you have 2/32 of tread left? if not DOT could make an issue of it.

It's nice to escape the frigid north, used a loaner to pickup my load in Grand Forks heading for Maxton...5,100 lbs - sometimes life just works out :).

    Be safe folks...

Had lunch with @Winnyf1 yesterday in Fargo while getting a reset. Went up to Grand Forks this morning to pick up. Headed to Vineland, NJ
Stopped in Mauston Wi for the night and ran into another Magnum driver I know....watched some football and grabbed some food with him...
    Continue toward NJ tomorrow.....

    Winnyf1 Thanks this.

Ahhh Flying Peelot...2 days ago when I fueled, I finally got Shower Power after my vacation...and the last time I checked, Shower Power means free showers for the rest of the month, but, today I tried to shower...and now have 0 showers...I swear, if it weren't the only place we were allowed to fuel, I would avoid this chain like the plague...

Did you call PFJ customer service?

If you have shower power you get one shower every day for free. All you need to do is fuel 500 gallons a month. As per the message from Chad earlier this week, Magnum still gets the 500 gallon rule since we always fuel at flying J pilot . Flying J pilot upped the shower power to 1000 gallons a month but we still get the 500 gallons rule.

The number of showers you have, as in five credits, is when you fuel over 50 gallons you get one shower above and beyond the shower power. They expire after 10 days.
If for some reason you don't have either… I think a call to pilot flying J customer service is needed.

    Winnyf1 and mitrucker Thank this.
