All trucks? They used to have a graduated speed rookies were cut back to 68 after 2 years 70 mph and after 4 years 72 mph. Are all trucks being turned up to 70? Pretty hard to believe.in this day and age.

As long as they have no safety violations and are compliant on fuel bonus/idle bonus they will turn the truck up to 70
-
Yeah 70 is slow..
I get tired of you people jamming up the hammer lane..

So what does "tax advantage pay" mean. I am assuming it includes per diem? .57 per mile looks pretty high and lofty for a guy with 10 yrs experience, and too good to really be true. If that includes per diem, which I am sure it does, the ACTUAL pay is closer to .45. Factor in all the big box company policies, the doing away with bonuses, and there is not much to brag about there...
What are you guys grossing per year OTR and Regional? That is where the buck and BS stops... -
I look another new breed mega fleet driver in the way..
I'm not impressed....scottlav46 Thanks this. -
Lol I don't even drive for Millis but whatever Super Trucker.
Bigpapa1960 Thanks this. -
I grossed $55,000 from Jan-Nov when I left. That was my 1st "full" year with them after graduating school with them the previous Sept. I was OTR and usually stayed out 12 days and then home for 3-4. That was also on the old pay scale.
Yes tax advantage includes per diem. Millis per diem is 10 cents so itd be .47 base and then 10 cents worth of per diem. Per diem is not forced however and from what I underst and they are still giving fuel compliance bonus, and quarterly and yearly safety bonuses. -
That is actually pretty good for being fresh out of school, some of these left lane triple digit truck bullies know they are barely making that if that. LOL. And even if they are it comes at a price too. I know because I was one of them. LOL
I grossed over 60000 a couple years ago, out 4 weeks home 7 to 9 days. Then our company trucks got turned down to 70 because of a few crashes, and the owner ops and a few cowboys couldn't and wouldnt behave themselves. Combine that with the hassles of reefer freight being double and triple brokered, idiot drivers not inpecting or wrting up faulty equipment, and the buddy buddy favoritism system of dispatchers and the above turd drivers and owner ops I mentioned, and driving for a small outfit isnt always worth the BS either. More freedom sometimes but a lot more responsibility and hassle.
It is kind of a slap in the face on the part of Millis, to flat out advertise that a student can make as much as a driver with experience. They are pretty much saying, "you've got your year in, your school is paid for, now scram."
I would like to see some photos of paystubs with gross income for 2016 just to prove it. I dont want to see your name, just numbers, dollars and cents -
Still waiting to see those 2016 end of year paystubs...
