I doubt that would be the case, the acquiring company wants to keep the customers they have just acquired, the fastest way to loose them to the competition is to stop supporting products. I would not hesitate to buy one if I were in the market for one.

Buy a garmin, end of the worries.

Garmin is not going anywhere, the build nav units for the military and many airlines use their stuff so buy the best.

Well you need to do more research.. She was cleared of the charges. And she buys companies that are in default and gets them back on their feet again. RM was one of those.. RM is making a profit and has been since 2008 when I joined them.

DO not start passing around that RM is "folding".

You can put anything on the Tablet you want, the issue will be the storage space. You only have about 4gb free. But, why would you want to install other maps when the tablet has Maps on it already?

Again,,, RM is not going under, folding, bankruptcy, or being sold off. Need to stop the speculations as all this does is pass false rumors around.

Get CoPilot truck for your phone. It an app and you can download the maps onto you phone so you don't use data. It not perfect but none are. You can try it out for $10 a month and they usually have sale once a year and you can buy the app for $120. I like it because it play thru stereo using your phone Bluetooth. Plus I can double check it with Google maps witch is better but no truck routing. For $120 or so it not a bad price when your looking at $400+ for a Garmin or RD. Plus you can pay for just a month to test it out. I think they even have 14 day free trials. CoPilot truck has two apps the monthly app for $10 and the other you buy for $149 but it goes on sale for like $120 in the fall every year.

I totally misread which "company" you were talking about. First I heard of any issues.

I do not post false information in regards to any company, but for the OP to come on here with such a VERY MISLEADING subject line with JOINING just yesterday and with only 5 posts sounds like a TROLL.

That subject line is way out of line and is very untruthful. Notice the OP did not show any links that RM has filed for anything. The Parent company is in the news.

So don't tell me I am calling the Pot/Kettle Black.
