I would have done you like I did a Swift driver this week...Save yer ###. LOL
This guy came from center lane to right lane (to allow me to pass), but failed to see the brokedown truck stopped in his lane. It had just happened...trailer dropped an air line.
The one time I talked to a Swift driver, that he actually had his radio on....saved his ### too.
I thought he was gonna ask to marry me, he was so greatful. -
I think we all have done that at least once.....
-
Twice....this week.
Brain fart...splitter up.

I am rofl! Construction sites are crazy sometimes. I can picture this in full detail! At least you didn't get in trouble or hurt.
I once screwed up and went around those pretty orange cones (in a 4 wheeler) instead of through them. I managed to ease back into my lane right before I seen a big dump truck coming around the curve in the lane that I was just in and wasn't supposed to be in. I too had a line of cars follow me around the cones instead of through them. Of course, this was a 2 lane I was on.
It was an innocent mistake....something we all do.....MONKEY SEE, MONKEY DO.
As far as you stalling the truck...it happens.
I bet those construction workers had a day of laughter form you though. Sharing a smile or laugh, never hurts. Heck, I bet they are still talking (laughing) about it. -
This is something that happens to ALL drivers every so often... new & veterans.MACK E-6 Thanks this.

Yup. Youll hear more noobs talk about their mishaps than vets...because the vets are too proud to admit a mistake since theyve got so many years under their belt.
My lastest n00b mistake was getting over to the right lane(was going up a hill) to let a tailgating TRUCK pass. I misjudged the speed of the chugging truck in the right lane(45mph or so) so after I got in the right lane, I was slowed down by this slow truck. Note: I was going the speed limit and was about 4 truck lengths behind the slower truck when I got into the right lane. : )
Lesson learned: If youve got a tailgater, dont try to be curtious and let them pass if itll put you in a worse situation. They arent being considerate by tailgating, why should you be considerate by moving over for them? -
A lot of drivers hav had some strange things happend to them.i was in a parking lot with nothing on it but me. And this truck would not get between the lines no matter how many times i tried, no of them dayzz. Lol
