About JJ Keller Elogs, I will get a tablet from Wal-Mart to use but my question is do I need to get it set up as another line on my phone plan to use it for elogs & such?

 

RStewart, we are not with Mercer, but I would imagine you could turn on the Personal Hotspot from your phone and then sign on to the wifi from your tablet (then do your update on your elogs). That is what I do when I'm on the road with my husband. We have an iPhone...so it might be a little different if you have a different phone.

 

I was told that the tablet needed a data plan which would need to be added to your plan.
I think some guys are using their phones, but not sure how they are working.

 

I just bought a used tablet that was on att and bought a $15 straight talk 1gb plan and sim and it works great. Now when I make it over there, all I have to do is get the app loaded.

 

You load the app from the play store type in jj keller

 

You don't need a separate data plan. You can hotspot off your phone.

That's why I got the prepaid in case it would work that way.

 

As long as your carrier allows you to do so. Straight Talk does not. Or at least didn't.

 

They still don't. I have Tmobile for phone service and it does have hotspot when it has service.
