First of all, I don't know about new motor but the most reliable dependable engine made was 12.7 liters.

My thoughts are the bigger motor will get better mpg being worked because it doesn't have to work as hard to produce the power. I could be wrong.

I prefer the DD15 myself. I have one, 455 hp, 10 speed & 2.64 rears & it pulls fine. I pull a dry box & I'm averaging about 7.8- 8 mpg running 60 mph. My average weight is probably about 37k. My truck also has 750k miles on it.

    Just my thoughts...

thats not 100% true. Reason being if you get someone that wants to FLOOR it all the time with big HP its gonna have a big down side. One your gonna mess up that Drive line and tires. 2 your gonna cost yourself a lot of MPG:p

I have a friend that drives a day cab with the DD13 in it. He says it is weak, no torque, nothing like the 12.7s were.

Yeah, mine is $161.97 for my service, unlimited everything on 2 phones (minus the ability to tether) with AT&T. My total bill is around $227 after the payment and insurance in the 2 phones (Galaxy S7 Active and IPhone 7S)

If someone is gonna drive like that it won't matter what engine they got, they will end up in the poor house. The bigger engine just sends them on their way a bit sooner.

I have a DD15 and it does good. I have driven the DD13 and talked to several techs about them and I would not have one. They have a few more problems out of them and they are underpowered.
