Hey, I think it's taken me about 6 months also. Lol. I'll just look for the big blue (I think, lol) WS hooked to a 'stoga. Shouldn't be too hard to find.

@RStewart I'm excited for you too and look forward to your posts. My hubby and I read the board together.
May I ask why it took you and @DezTrucking 6 months? Were you waiting for a trailer or just because...? We are planning on waiting 2 or 3 months to just pay off some bills before switching companies as we anticipate the first month being a little slow as we learn the system. We have decided to lease a trailer as well as we don't want to pay $$$ to bring our trailer up to code (it's an old run-down trailer).
At any rate, we can't wait to hear about your experiences.

@Sami121323 from what I have read in this thread and many other Mercer threads, van loads don't pay very well per mile (that is at any company--not just Mercer). Hopefully a Mercer van driver will see your post and respond.

 

It's a black ws. And bout #### time.

Some guys do very well. Others fall miserably. It's all on you. But imo, i wouldn't want a van. Way to much like work for my tastes.

I'll have you know I've been out of florida 6 times in the last two weeks. Granted i made it back home almost every night. And get it straight, it's been since july. Not quite a year.

Freight down here got really slow. I keep waiting for the snow birds to go home, but they haven't so come Monday if things don't change I'll be heading north. Ordered a lift axle kit from hendrickson today so better actually go make some money since i keep spending it.
