    I am suppose to start with Heartland Express in two weeks. Kinda Leary of everything I'm reading about them. A few people have told me they are a good company. I wanting a company that will get you home every weekend. From Illinois so don't know some of the smaller companies around here. Most of the ones that I have contacted want me to be out 2-4 weeks at a time.

    Raven has one week fleet. Leave out on monday and get home friday or saturday for a 34/48 hrs off. Depending on the load of course.

    I see they have local to, but to far for me to drive everyday from Daytona. I currently work at YRC in Orlando. Hate it there and the drive back and forth every day.

    Some posts from a couple years ago stated Sunstate Carriers is home weekends.
    McKesson delivers medical supplies to hospitals and other medical facilities. Pay is really good from what someone told me.
    Some intermodal companies such as Hub Group have decent home time, but don't know how they pay.

    Touch base with Epes Transport . They are a home weekly company . Worked there 10 years , not a bad company . I4 used to be the cutoff line for them .

    It's 12 an hour plus .14 cents per mile. My buddy in Jax fl does. Barely makes 800 a week. He's already updating resume after 2 months.
