On the contrary I applied 7/22/16.....had the phone interview week after Thanksgiving. Road test/physical 2 weeks after that. Offered the job and set for orientation 1/16/2017. (Grove City OH)

Now I'm having to question myself if I'm willing to leave my 90k+/yr job, home on weekends. It's nights in the LTL world, which is a specific animal unto itself.

Stay where your at . Your still going have to use your 14 hour clock to make the same money as u do now but will be sleeping in a truck instead off your own bed and u will be spending money on the road for food . U a already have a great line run why throw that away for the same money just seems foolish

Its not that hard. If your criminal records is clean for the last 10 and your driving record is good you should apply now. You just cant be a complete moron. They even accept Schneider, Jb hunt, Swift or whatever drivers. It really is the best otr job out there. Its not even really otr. There are guys turning in their own authority all the time to take this job

I came from Conway, Holland and did some night work for maines. I'm sure you will like this work better than the night crap. If home time is the priority don't take this job. The schedule will be hard to have a family life and thank god I don't have kids or a wife.

You are wrong on everything. They have rules about cell phone usage and you can use them. If you have an accident then you need to produce the phone records they don't sit there and watch phone usage. We don't have cameras yet even when we do they don't monitor all the time and have to be set off by a hard break or something.

I can't be wrong on everything... They do advertise constantly. I hear it daily, as for the rest, as you say the drive cams are coming... Pilot program I understand, but the cameras will be recording all the time, a hard break will trigger the save filing film, but I assure you it is recording, if it is recording, it can be monitored.

As for cell phones, and records... I refer you to post 10

Last ruling we got was calls have to less than 10 minutes and under 60 minutes per day while driving. No text sending while the Qualcomm is in drive!
